Social (Media) Distancing

You may all be socially distancing but now is the time when it’s most important to stay close to your audience on social media.

To help you achieve that, we’ve invested in various pieces of technology and adapted our productions to keep you safe and comfortable, whilst still delivering high quality video content.

If you have been involved with video production in the past, you probably know the process of clipping a lapel microphone onto the clothes of whoever is talking, which in these times may be an uncomfortable experience. To maintain social distancing, we’re replacing our lapel microphones where possible with a broadcast quality shotgun microphone. By doing this, we can capture natural sound without the need to enter your personal space.

We also believe that video production is a collaborative process, so we provide wireless monitoring from the camera to an iPad, iPhone or android device from up to 200 feet away. With this technology, you could be sat in a completely different room whilst still keeping an eye on what’s being shot without the need to look over our shoulder.

Also in line with government advice, we sanitise our equipment regularly, wear PPE where necessary and maintain our personal sanitation to give you peace of mind and allow you to keep up with your video commitments.
